Mission Critical IT: From Data Centers to the Cloud-How Healthcare, Government, and Cybersecurity are Leading the IT Evolution
Technology has become an integral part of how we live and work, but it's changing rapidly and the drivers of change are coming from new sources. The pressure is on to adopt a "cloud strategy" but many organizations haven't thought through their own requirements for: availability of information, security of intellectual property & personal data, and where data and information reside. NVTC will examine the current and future state of trends and emerging technologies that have a direct and significant impact on you and your organization. Noted author Andrew Blum will introduce the concept of "where the cloud lives" while discussing key insights from his best-selling book "Tubes: A Journey to the Center of the Internet." Industry leaders from Healthcare, the Federal Government, and Cybersecurity will share their insight into the critical issues, challenges & priorities that are driving mission critical IT, data centers, and cloud-all vital industries at the front of a global movement-and led by Northern Virginia and the Capital Region.
